To illustrate my frustrated love for putting pen to #journal , I was going to include this in the last post, but it was too long!

This is the opening spread of my #CharacterJournal for the Saturday #Strixhaven game. Filled up the first & setting up the second.

I used a dutch door style for the character information, creating several smaller pages with tabs that leave the top free to show frequently referenced trackers. Session notes will start on the next full spread.

New image for my D&D character. He’s a tiefling warlock with a pact to “C’jhulhu” (essentially Cthulhu but for emos). He will be officially entering Silverquill college at Strixhaven next year so he needed some updated robes.

#strixhaven (in #dnd5e) tonight. Really fun and very atypical for D&D -- we've had I think one short combat in three sessions so far! The easy, character/school activity focused play is a really interesting feel for D&D, and it doesn't feel like we're fithing the system--if anything, the high failure chance for first level characters works well as a source of comedy in a low-stakes contest. (#tabletop #rpg)
