I came back from #RSPB #StrumpshawFen with loads of photos of dragonflies and damselflies, and quite a few other insects, but not too many #WetlandPlants. This one I did get, and it's something I don't see much of round here: Frogbit. Day 11 of the 2022 #dragonfly #AdventCalendar. The Four-spotted Chaser is common in early summer and distinctive with its golden colour and spotted wings. Great day out in #Norfolk today - called in at #RSPB #StrumpshawFen and saw what will surely be my last #dragonfly of the year (female Common Darter), then sunset at Stubb Mill watching the Marsh Harriers and as a bonus a couple of Cranes flew over. Happy days.
