Let's talk about Ra.
Ra is the #kemetic sun god. He is sometimes called Ra-Heruakhety which is a combination god of Ra and Heruakhety, who is Heru (Horus) of the Horizon. Ra is a kingly deity and is responsible for the whole of Creation. Without Ra the universe would be undone and return to nothingness. Only Ra would remain and be forced to repeat every instance of Creation. Every pain, every joy, every thing. This is the reason Ra has so many protectors. The Eye goddesses in particular are focused on protecting Ra and protecting Creation. There are forms of Ra that can protect himself and those include... Sobek-Ra, Montu-Ra, and Ra the Great Cat. The Great Cat in particular is seen destroying (cutting) the chaos worm.
