Goosander fishing, lots of Mallard. Mute Swans, Jays. Carrion Crows not following me around for once, guess they only do that when I'm by myself.
Magpies seem to be nesting, and the feral pigeons have screeching babies in the railway bridge roof.
A sheepdog tried to herd its owner as we passed, and a Dunnock hopped around shyly in the hedge.
