@CiaraNi if I am in a conversation about flying that has a chance, I start with whether people understand that aircraft fuel mostly escapes taxation; and with a definition of air travel as a resource that should be socialised, before I get to the 'how much tax-free flight allowance each individual might have' stuff; and at some point I lose it and bang on about the #SuperRich who do most of the damage -- in fact I start there, but without letting off people who can or might change / pledge
