It's certainly worth studying and seeing if, perhaps by altering gut #microbiome, covid makes recklessness marginally worse. But the first principal component of careless covid transmission is pretty clearly being a POJ (Plain Old Jackass).

Luftaustausch im #ICE alle 7 Minuten, mit G4-Filter (filtert groben Staub & Haare, aber keine kleineren Partikel wie Pollen oder Viren). Die Studien schließen, dass die Klimaanlage im #ICE die #Aerosole nicht auffällig weiterverbreitet (also keine #Superspreader in der Bahn verursacht durch das bahneigene Lüftungssystem).

So I just saw an ad on TV for the Melbourne Christmas Carols.

I'm quite sure people will go in their droves.

To a crowded event (even if it's outdoors) with people singing.

Then a few days later those same people will wonder where the hell they caught #COVID19 because "I'm so careful".

Some of them might end up in hospital.

A few will probably die.

For carols.

Anyone care to explain to me why there would be no reason to expect an equivalent spike in January 2023 after the #holidays as we had this year?

Keep in mind, you should look up studies on the newer B.x variants regarding #vaccine and #antiviral efficacy.

And consider this #holiday #Superspreader event there is much less testing, and basically nobody taking any precautions at all.

Starting in #2023 we'll have similar conditions to pre-vaccine era 2020. But with everyone acting like #Covid doesn't exist, AND the newer B.x variants having an R0= >18, as opposed to R0=~2.

If anything, January-February could be off the scale.
