Just me playing one instance of Surge XT, only internal effects, using my Arturia Keystep.

I've been occasionally looking into getting a polyphonic subtractive synth, but Surge XT sounds entirely good to me, so I feel like the sound engine in a hardware synth would be a waste.

If anyone still makes hardware keyboards that can run PC audio plugins, let me know?

Synthesizing more #SynthWave sounds in #SurgeXT #Synth.

I've shared this patch in Surge's discord server. Unfortunately, one moderator rejects to include my patches in future releases 'cause I design my instruments around -18dBFS RMS (0dBu) (optimal level to have enough headroom and avoid clipping) and he says my instruments doesn't meet guidelines (¿?) 🤨.
I'm waiting a bit for him to come to his senses. If not, I'll find another place where you can download my instruments.

The music is made with #Ardour, #LSP and #SurgeXT. It is basically a showcase for SurgeXT, which such a powerful synth. This #MusicTuesday 's morning I'm working on an upbeat track.
I'm in the early stage but I like how it's sounding, despite not having much experience in dubstep.

As a sound designer, I'm a fanatic of synthesize my own sounds. People thinks they need expensive synths to produce modern music, but all the instruments in this track except fx and drums were synthesized in #SurgeXT, including growls.
