I loved the hell out of the Wardlow/Orange Cassidy match. (Yeah, I meant that slash.) Orange is the favorite of a friend and I've been gently mocking her about those jeggings because they are a crime against Orange's ass. I cracked up when Wardlow tore the pockets. Please get him new pants, AEW. Orange putting Wardlow's straps back up killed me, too, because I so love the goofy trope of taking down your straps when the wrestling gets serious. The chainsaw was perfect.

I also love that the small gymnastic type wrestlers and the big guys can work so well together now. This match was well planned and just fun to watch. Definitely a spot show.

Since I traumatized and delighted other people with this I'm going to do it here, too. Orange Cassidy spinning around Wardlow is like Gabrielle trying to sneak attack Xena. That makes Danhausen Joxer. Please enjoy the visual. I think Wardlow would rock the skirt.

CJ has finally reached the age where I find him attractive. It's the silver in his hair and beard, it always is. Larry Zybysko says fuck you, though. Living Legend my ass.

Regal is a fucking delight.

So I have feelings about Mox and the interim title and violence. It was recently the anniversary of Hell in a Cell and his Facebook page asked where we were when it happened. I was watching, terrified. Because it was Mick who made me no longer love this kind of violence. Look, I was a Ric Flair fan before I was an ECW fan, I am not afraid of this stuff. What I'm afraid of is wrestlers who get hurt because no one will stop things. I don't so much have that fear in AEW because it's obvious the wrestlers take care of each other, but I still don't like violence for violence's sake, and that's what it seems the interim title run is about.

The House of Black didn't live up to what I'd hoped they'd be when I came back to wrestling. They went from a pirate-eyed cheerleader to slowly backing out of the light during promos like they're Homer Simpson backing into a bush.
