Does anybody know how to type an #ellipsis (…) on #Microsoft #SwiftKey #keyboard for #Android? I can't find the answer anywhere, and #Google_search gives me nothing useful. 🤦🏽‍♂️

@Waiting4Thunder A couple of weeks ago I thought I'd try out #SwiftKey again, since it'd been a while. The keyboard was horrible compared to the #GBoard. I couldn't swipe a single sentence without needing to go back and fix at least 2 words. I quickly returned to GBoard.

About #privacy, the major ones default to sharing data back with the manufacture. You can opt-out, but who knows what that actually means. If you want FOSS, check out #OpenBoard (it's what the #PinePhone uses).

Decoded to give the #Grammarly keyboard a try after Microsoft has spent years destroying #SwiftKey.

It's... good, but not a perfect replacement. One change you'll definitely want to make is to enable the ”Period key” in the settings, and if you use #IceCubes for your Mastadon app, disable the “Social Keyboard” or it won't show up.

Well huh, apparently #SwiftKey was discontinued on iOS, and I was having a lot of trouble with it being buggy this week in a way I never heard about before.

Was just about to ask for good recommendations to replace it... But I guess today they reversed the decision?
