OK, working on refactoring of my WidgetKit Extension code.. So I can finally convert my Watch Complications to WidgetKit... #programming #SwiftUI #AppleWatch

All right, I got rid of that glitch when having the record tilted forward.
And what was stopping me from adding a flip animation to the interactive widget? 🤷🏻♂️
Possibly final build for Vinyl Fetish 10.1, ready for iOS 17:

Hey chaps, I have a SwiftUI question.
I want to transition away from NavigationView in Cork and adopt NavigationSplitView.
I have this use case:
I have a start page that will show up by default when nothing is selected. Then, from the sidebar, you can choose one of these two types: Package or Tap. These two have completely different structures.
I also need there to be a button that will programatically return me to the default page.
What’s the most concise way to do this?
Found a good App store screenshot template in Figma for Rid!

Is there a succinct example of all the toolbar placements in SwiftUI for macOS? They make no sense!
A SwiftUI question for the lads:
I’m trying to add a customizable toolbar. Check out the picture for what I mean.
This is possible, as per this documentation page: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/swiftui/view/toolbar(id:content:)
My code looks like this: https://pastes.io/mqy5nk2xxx
It’s still not letting me customize it for whatever reason. I have also tried assigning each button a `.placement`, but that doesn’t fix it. Neither does moving the `.toolbar` up to the `VStack`.
Anyone knows what’s up?
Preview of Cork 1.2:
One of the more-requested features has finally arrived; now you can install the most-installed packages across all of Homebrew! Of course, it takes into account the packages you already have installed, so it won’t show any duplicates. Check out the video!
VOLUME WARNING! I forgot to turn off audio recording, so the music I was listening to is still there 😅

Updated the Settings panel in Rid, didn't know what type of options I would add yet as the app is very simple, I used a Mastodon logo as SF Symbol made by @jeremie: https://github.com/jeremieb/social-symbols/tree/main#mastodon
I just need to stop procrastinating and submit this to the App Store!
Throwback: The first publicly available version of Cork, versus the current version

Update coming to the Cork demo:
Now, it checks if you have Homebrew installed, and gives you instructions on how to install it if you don’t.
This is a kind of a temporary measure until a proper, automated installation workflow can be implemented (if possible).

Are there any intermediate to advanced macOS-focused SwiftUI tutorials out there?
Everything is for iOS :(
Cork version 1.1 is out.
This update includes notifications! You can now get notified when some workflows finish, such as checking for outdated packages, when updating finishes, and more.
This release also lays the groundwork for deeper macOS interaction. There’s a new button when you right-click Cork in the Dock that lets you quickly update packages.

Coming in Cork 1.1: A revamped tagg design!
Now, instead of your tagged package being in a red capsule, you get a more Finder-like colored bubble. What’s more, tagging and untagging packages has a cool animation!
Check it out, and tell me what you think 😉
