6. That #TTRPG you really want to play but can't seem to find the right group or time for.

I've got many games I want to play. I want to play some in campaigns. But my time is not infinite.

A game I think I didn't explore as much as I would like is #SwordsWithoutMaster
It's one of my favourite games, and I would really love to play a saga, a campaign with recurrent characters with it. Explore the Styles, the way to echo from one game to another.

The words, diegetic advancement, got stuck in my head.

Avancée sur la conception de la feuille de personnage de mon #JDR Les Orphelins du RadX, basé sur le #PushSRD . Je reprends la mécanique de base, et je la pousse un peu pour jouer avec les dés et avec les Traits.

La feuille aura des volets repliés de chaque côté, avec des rappels de règles.

Building a web app for #SwordsWithoutMaster has been an interesting endeavor. Especially since I've had to learn everything about building a web app beyond the very little HTML I remember from my geocities days.

The wonders and perils of coding aside, it's also been intriguing to examine my game from this new perspective.

Swords was built around quite a bit of physical interaction. There are important portents and rituals around the picking up and passing of the dice that online play lacks.

@hellcowkeith Being a puppet and roleplaying with you onstage at PaxU was last-last year, so it doesn't quite make the cut.

So I'd say playing #SwordsWithoutMaster with @epidiah and playing a blue asexual 7-foot three-armed alien

@RPGManor Ich freue mich auf das deutsche #AgonRPG und insbesondere #Warlock! bei #SystemMatters, die Tonnen noch ausstehenden superinteressanten #Runequest Materials von #chaosium und neuem deutschen Kram von @Silentpat , bei denen ich auch #Fateforge entgegenfiebere. Oh, #DCCLankhmar kommt auf deutsch, hehe! DCC #DyingEarth auf englisch! Ach ja: die seit langem angekündigte neue Version von #SwordsWithoutMaster wäre auch toll.

@johnwsheldon If you play #SwordsWithoutMaster in campaign, the characters evolve and change, but never really "progress". The changes will not change anything relating to success or not in the game.

I also own #swordswithoutmaster (afaik it's only available with some #zine download pdf).
Liked it a lot.

Iirc #3W6 treated at least these two in their german (/austrian) language #storyrpg podcast.

Von den genannten Spielen gibt es meines Wissens bisher nur #Dread auf Deutsch ("das Spiel mit dem Jengaturm"), von #SystemMatters.

@epidiah That's one thing I liked when discovering #SwordsWithoutMaster : the lore is not there (but it's there nonetheless, in between the lines).

What you did with Rogue Scroll is even better, with all that "non-lore" "non-continuity" but pretty darn good stuff stuffed in the tables.

Playing without having to absorb lore, to take care of continuity is really freeing.

I found some similar stuff in the design of #Push by @capacle and The Wizard's Grimoire by @lumpley
