Webster’s Dictionary defines apocalypse as: revelation; discovery; disclosure. The name of a book of the New Testament, containing many discoveries or predictions respecting the future state of Christianity, written by St. John, in Patmos, near the close of the first century.

The Book of Revelation is a prophetic and symbolic book, with many references to visions and prophecies given to other prophets like: Daniel, Zachariah, Ezekiel and Isaiah. It is filled with allegories that need to be unveiled/revealed to those who read it. John said that those who read, hear and keep the words of this prophecy would be blessed (ref Rev 1:3).

Heaven to Earth

God’s desire is for Heaven to come to earth, but what does this really mean?

Are Heaven and earth something symbolic? “In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth” (Gen 1:1). The earth is symbolic of us because Adam was made out of the dust of the earth (ref Gen 2:7). Jesus said that the seed is the Word of God (ref Luke 8:11); while Paul said we are the tabernacle of God and God dwells in us (ref 1 Co 3:16).

Heaven is wherever God dwells; in Hebrew it is the word “shamayim”, or the character of God. God’s desire is for us to bring heaven (His character) to earth (us): “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt 6:10).
When this takes place, we will walk in His nature.

The Womb is the Mind

When the scriptures speak about a womb being opened up, it really is speaking of the opening of the mind. The word womb in ancient Hebrew is the word beten, and according to the Word Study definition of the word beten, it’s the “innermost parts, as the place where thoughts are treasured.”

Did you know that when the word ‘serpent’ is mentioned in the bible it doesn’t always have a negative meaning?
While the serpent is first mentioned as the creature who deceived Eve into eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen 3:13), and often referred to as the devil (Rev 12:9), the word for serpent is not always speaking about the devil.

Scripture is full of symbolisms & references to past events. “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Mat 24:37) What can we learn from this verse?

In the beginning, the earth was formless, void, and empty; darkness was on the face of the deep. (Genesis 1:2).

But then God said, “Let there be light,” and God commanded light to come out of darkness.

The true beginning is the beginning of our understanding, & when the Lord shined His light in our hearts He unveiled the darkness that was inside our way of thinking, revealing the knowledge of who He is.
