Somehow, in a single day, we watched: the first Shrek (with his famous speech about ogres' oniony layerness); the amusing whodunit Glass Onion (the detective can't stop comparing the investigation with peeling the you-know-what); an episode of The White Lotus (s01e05, a character having a meltdown talking about her relationships and her layery onionness). Las peleas eran por el control del grupo: Sting por un lado, Copeland y Summers por el otro. Al respecto, el bajista dijo años más tarde “Parte de la frustración venía de que Stewart y Andy querían componer, y no es fácil decirle a alguien que no trae una buena canción. Habitualmente tenía que decirlo yo”. Y ese desgaste, que se convertiría en ruptura un año más tarde, iba de la mano de otra crisis que vivía el ex profesor de literatura a nivel personal: la separación que se estaba gestando de su esposa de entonces, Frances Tomelty. Y serían ambos conflictos los que definirían el título del trabajo del que se cumple un nuevo aniversario: #Synchronicity. El término, tomado de Carl Jung, tiene el sentido “de una coincidencia temporal de dos o más sucesos relacionados entre sí de una manera no causal, cuyo contenido significativo sea igual o similar”
