#Introduction post (2.0)!

Hi I'm Stefanie! I've been doing software for 20+ years. I'm big into #OpenSource, #mobile (especially #Android), and #SystemsProgramming. Currently director of engineering at #Mason in #Seattle. Once upon a time I started a software project called #CyanogenMod (now #LineageOS) that freed millions of #Android phones. I spend my free time producing music, skating, raising 3 kids, and playing #RollerDerby (my derby name is Bliss Banshee). 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈 ⚢

FYI: if you are reading/writing Linux kernel interfaces, keep in mind, that syscall semantics do matter and it generally is not safe to use C-API or C++ API functions, you have to use plain syscalls.
This is also important to keep in mind when using languages like rust.
