The 12z Euro also comes west and now shows a strong Atlantic ridge. These show #TD13 / future #Lee at 10 days out. The East Coast is now officially on notice.

Part of the confidence in forecast for TD13 comes from the warm waters in its predicted track across the Atlantic ocean.

Sea Surface Temperature (SST) values are around 30°C in its path, which will provide plenty of fuel for the storm.

So…here’s where the 12z GFS puts #TD13 / future #Lee a week from early Friday afternoon…a major shift west that places the storm well within 300 miles of the NJ coast.
