I have been highly critical of SDWorx in the past week but in the end, in cycling, the winner always has the right tactic. They won 4 stages, had the yellow jersey and the green jersey from day 1 until the end and are first and second on the GC. Even to the incredible high standards of SDWorx this was a successful Tour de France.

I hope Niewiadoma takes the stage and Kopecky stays within a minute of Vollering and Van Vleuten. SDWorx has been riding passively all week and it would be nice if it doesn't pay out .

Dear fellow Belgian cycling fans, I love you but please stop complaining about SDWorx not working for Kopecky in a sprint stage she's never very likely to win against Kool. This is a team that's here to win the Tour, a sprint stage is a nice to have at best. Also, please keep in mind that Kopecky is the only baroudeur in the peloton who has the luxury of not having Reusser and Vollering chasing her. She would not be in yellow if she was with another team.
