😲 Human heart discovered in TDOT salt pile

"A human heart has been discovered in the #Tennessee Department of Transportation’s salt barn in McEwen. According to #Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis, #TDOT workers were combining products to make brine on Thursday. As workers were retrieving salt, they discovered what they believed to be a weirdly shaped rock... TBI was on the scene Friday, helping sheriff’s deputies sift through sand to look for other body parts."

What: I-40 is shut down indefinitely.

Where: Hernando de Soto Bridge over the Mississippi River in Memphis (Mile 284 - Mile 0).

Why: Major cracking was found on the bottom of a bridge truss during a routine inspection by an ArDOT contractor.

Mitigation: Use I-55 as an alternate route. Expect long delays.
