This #TEDtalk from @alyssam_infosec is really interesting. It's easy to look at one side of the #hiring equation or the other, but it's not often both are considered in tandem.

Having never been on the hiring side of the table (or video call, as is common nowadays), it's very easy to look at silly job requirements and laugh it off as nonsense (e.g. asking for 10 years experience with a tool that's only existed half that long). But perhaps there's more to it than that...

Here’s a little guide to how you can turn oslo.town into an #iPhone or #iPad app (with pictures):

1. Visit https://oslo.town in Safari and sign in. Press the share button (highlighted in the attached picture)

2. Select “Add to Home Screen”

3. Change the name to something short like “Mastodon” or “oslo.town” - then hit ‘Add’

4. Mission complete! The website magically turns into an app and appears on the Home Screen of your iPhone or iPad.
