Techy news for #TKCompanionApp version 7.0.0 (coming soon): I had to change the source code repository username from marco.bresciani to marcoXbresciani.
You can find the new repository at the previous URL (automagically redirected) or at https://codeberg.org/marcoXbresciani/TKCompanionApp
No new users features for now: only cosmetic changes translating the documentation files from #Markdown to #orgmode markup.

While version 6.4.2 is on its way, I'm already preparing v. 6.5.0 of my #TKCompanionApp available on @fdroidorg and useful for all #ToyotaKata folks out there (see you at katacon.eu ?!).
This one refurbishes PDSA journal page, with additional days navigation, and adds the possibility to copy data from past journals.
I'm planning to showcase it at #KataCon, hoping more people will use it.
If you use it, let me know your feedback and needs: I'm here to improve!

I added your #fdroid app #TKCompanionApp to my we ❤️ @Codeberg
its an "F-Droid Apps hosted on Codeberg" listt
Alert for my #TKCompanionApp: a user has found an unauthorised copy on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=name.bresciani.marco.tkcompanionapp
That is NOT my app!! It's could be modifidd from the original in an unknown way, and surely a #FOSS #copyright #violation!
My app is _only_ available through @fdroidorg at https://f-droid.org/en/packages/name.bresciani.marco.tkcompanionapp/ or you can download F-Droid-signed APKs from @Codeberg (https://codeberg.org/marco.bresciani/TKCompanionApp/releases) or the GitHub mirror: https://github.com/marcoXbresciani/TKCompanionApp/releases and nowhere else.
BE CAREFUL!!

I'm thinking about a new feature of my #FOSS #TKCompanionApp and I'm struggling with a few:
1. Alarm/reminder to trigger daily to remind people do their Improvement Kata - React Native libraries are quite old
2. Export of the improvement journal in Markdown format to a file - I'd prefer to keep the app with zero permissions, but let's see.
What else? TKCompanionApp users (if any) what do you need? Suggestions?
Please find my TKCompanionApp on @fdroidorg

And also version 6.2.0 of my #TKCompanionApp is live on @fdroidorg .
The tiny helper for your #ToyotaKata continuous improvement practice based on scientific thinking is slowly growing.
Next step, I'm planning to add a daily reminder/alarm clock to help you remember to to your daily PDSA journal. What do you think?
I'm working on my #TKCompanionApp available on @fdroidorg.
Main feature is the possibility to fill a (possibly daily) PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) journal based on #ToyotaKata ideas by Mike Rother, so that users can apply scientific thinking to continuous improvement process
I want to "gamify" it, so that people will be more keen to use it more and more.
For this, I'd love to give prizes/badges based on how frequently people save their diary.
@splitcells
Cool!
One thing I'm already doing but not yet added to my own self-guide is that my projects are/will be #REUSE compliant, following the guidelines of @fsfe .
My #TKCompanionApp, on @fdroidorg is already compliant: https://api.reuse.software/info/github.com/marcoXbresciani/TKCompanionApp (even though I have to switch the link from GitHub to @Codeberg )
@nobodyinperson
My #TKCompanionApp is REUSE-compliant as well. Nice idea indeed.

I've just passed 1000 commits in my #TKCompanionApp and release 6.1.1 is being baked by @fdroidorg
I've received a couple of very nice feedbacks and I'm struggling at adding a few more features.
I'm also searching for help on iOS side, since I don't have one and can't release it.
See you at next #ToyotaKata #KataCon #Europe conference in May?

Anyone willing to contribute translating my #TKCompanionApp ? It's #FOSS, available through @fdroidorg, and fully #privacy-oriented (doesn't even use Internet connection!)

#TKCompanionApp news!
Not (yet) released, but
* I've reviewed a bit the PDSA page, removing placeholders add adding English and Italian translations for snackbar messages when saving/deleting. Please feel free to push my contributing translators (https://codeberg.org/marco.bresciani/TKCompanionApp#user-content-translations). 😉
* I'm adding the "earned badges" (badges? goals? Any better naming?) to give some nice achievements to frequent users.
As usual, no permissions, no internet connection needed, no privacy concerns for my app users.
While version 6.0.0 of my #TKCompanionApp is already available through @fdroidorg, I'm already planning the next feature.
I'm thinking about "gamifying" it a bit: the idea is to add some kind of goals/medals/prizes for each set/day/use of PDSA journal.
Something like the rewards on Shattered Pixel Dungeon.
One medal for the first PDSA saved, another medal for two/three saved PDSA in a row, ...
What do you think?
Now available (as usual on @fdroidorg ) the new version 6.0.0 of my #TKCompanionApp, a short and small helper for Toyota Kata practitioners.
Graphically revamped with React Native Paper 5.0 (RC), new React Native library and few tiny things.
I'm still waiting for your feedbacks, comments and ideas for new functionalities. 🖖🏻

@Zezin
Have you tried #Orgzly app from @fdroidorg ? Simpler than #Emacs, but still based on org mode.
I'm also trying to create something related to habits and organisation, based on Toyota Kata way of working. Just begun, basically, but I'm willing to improve.
Search for #TKCompanionApp on @fdroidorg: version 6.0.0 is coming soon any feature suggestion is very welcome.

I hope you'll add my #TKCompanionApp to the list soon. 😉 Hoping it'll be useful to someone.
I'm still struggling to find interesting features to add, though.
While version 5.0.0 on my #TKCompanionApp is still available on @fdroidorg, I'm working on version 6.0.0.
Not much of a thing, actually (can't think of a proper, interesting, new functionality (help here?) yet), but I'm updating documentation, a few libraries and dependencies, the Markdown badges (to possibly remove dependency on external services) and tiny things like that.
Version 6 of my #TKCompanionApp just started.
Full refresh or libraries, frameworks and dependencies: React Native 0.70.5 (or whatever there'll be, when ready), new icons, legend page added, ...
Now I only need to find more interesting features to push users to interact with it, for their own continuous improvement and keep pace with their daily PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) cycle and Toyota Kata way of working.
Ideas?
Meanwhile, version 5.0.0 is on @fdroidorg at https://f-droid.org/en/packages/name.bresciani.marco.tkcompanionapp/
This thing of @reproducible_builds feels very interesting.
I know @fdroidorg is creating reproducible build of my #TKCompanionApp, but from time to time I'm wondering if there's something I can do to improve my app and make it reproducible by default.
It's just a spare time hobby, but one day I'll try to take a better look.
Now available (as usual on @fdroidorg) the new verion 5.0.0 of my #TKCompanionApp, a short and small helper for Toyota Kata practitioners.

Coming soon: updated icons and saving method.
Already planned: upgrade of basic libraries and dependencies, for better performances and future sustainability.
