Uuuaaahhh.

Meinem bisherigen Hoster #freenom wurde die #TLD .GA entzogen. Hat mich 24 Stunden hektischen Aktionismus gekostet einen neuen Hoster (#gandi) zu finden und wieder connected zu sein.

Ich bin entsetzt, wie stark ich hier abhängig bin. Weil -- Schock! -- wenn sich da jemand meine Domain gekrallt hätte über die ich hunderte von E-Mails für diverse Logins habe, das wäre ein Debakel gewesen.

Reguliert scheint das auch nicht vernünftig zu sein. Ich will Domains auf Lebenszeit.

Ein netter Seiteneffekt bei Mastodon scheint mir, dass es praktische Verwendung für die Unzahl „neuer“, v.a. nicht ländergebundener #TLD gibt:
.lol, .rocks, .social, .community …

Ich wusste, dass sie existieren, aber in der freien Wildbahn sind sie mir vorher kaum untergekommen.
