We have another open position for
#EMBL's #TREC expedition along Europe's coastlines, which will collect a huge dataset of many different data types like #microbiome, soil chemistry, pollutants, microscopic imaging. https://embl.org/jobs/position/HD02316 The Biocurator/Bioinformatician will e.g. make sure that samples are tracked in a LIMS system, that the relevant metadata is captured and available for analysis & enriched with external data. We're looking for someone w/ fieldwork and computational experience

Aux championnats de France de #TREC, ya des stressés qui comptent à la main toutes les notes de tous les candidats (~20 notes x 30 candidats sur tableurs) pour connaître le classement.
J'hésite à leur montrer le principe de l'OCR mais c'est trop drôle de le entendre galérer 🤣

Weekend prolongé pour soutenir ma femme qui concoure aux Championnats de France de #TREC 🐴 en Amateur 2 duo (ya que Amateur 1 qui est plus dur) à Maurs dans le Cantal. 80 participants.
