@berkough @fuchsiii same as with Xorg or any massively functional software.
Would I love it if everyone obly used #Markdown, #YADL & #TSV's for work?
Hell yeah.
But I also understand that WYSIWYG-Editors are important, so I'm not gonna advocate for banning LibreOffice, as unlike Microsoft they don't champion bloated trash like #OOXML & use toxic LockIn to chain users on their GDPR & BDSG noncompliant Govware...
@rqsd@borg.social I hate #XML and #YAML...
I want #YADL with #TSV|s because Tabs are superior to spaces!

@colinkiama So right now I use #PyCharm & #VScodium [a debloated fork of #VisualStudio: Code w/o telemetry bs!] to do #TSV's & #MarkDown (using matching add-ons that show previews and color-highlight syntax).
For diagrams, I can recommend https://draw.io which also has an excellent offline-capable #Desktop #App and can export not only it's own file format but #XML, #SVG, #HTML & #PDF.
#pdf #HTML #svg #xml #App #Desktop #markdown #TSV #visualstudio #vscodium #pycharm
@colinkiama personally, I don't use markdown for tables, but #TSV [tab-seperated values, because I may use commas and spaces in fields] files and just link them.
Personally, I want to establish a better file format (#YADL) for combining #Markdown with certain extras, but I'll have to finish that specification AND then get it adopted.

@bahnkundenv Allein die Tatsache dass man hier auf #Excel [#OOXML] anstelle von offenen Lösungen und Standard wie #OpenDocument oder #CSV / #TSV setzt sagt alles über den Zustand der #DB aus...
