In Pathfinder1e, #werewolves have the Type Humanoid and the Subtype Shapechanger. As Humanoids, they're susceptible to spells that have a target of Person, such as Charm Person.

In my #Ustalav campaign, the party ran into an afflicted werewolf and the party's sorcerer cast Charm Person on it.

As GM, I was caught off-guard. The werewolf's disposition shifted to friendly but it was still not rational, just friendly.

A Crit-Fumble tale.

We play is in #Ustalav so PCs encounter many undead. The druid and bard met a bodak in a cave.

Somehow... I don't remember how!... a touch spell against the bodak crit-fumbled. Fumble card drawn. Magic misfired and the bodak became invisible and incorporeal for 1d4 rounds. Rolled 4 rounds. So for 4 rounds, the bodak effectively had no death gaze or melee attack but it was hard to hit.

I made my own encounter tables. I put a CR 15 CE umbral dragon (similar to D&D shadow dragon) at 100.

The first time the tables were used, at party level 8 or 9, I had a player roll an encounter in the open. She rolled 100.

Luckily, umbral dragons prefer eating undead, so in round one wights were fleeing the woods. In round two the dragon crashed down in front of them, attacking the wights. The party fled.

I ran my game in a game store and had a lot of player churn. One session two new guys joined the game. In the dungeon they encountered a monstrous statue. They assumed it would attack them, so one of them attacked it.

I use Critical Fumble cards.

The attack on the statue critically fumbled. The PC took normal damage and he dazed himself for 1d4 rounds. I think everyone had a laugh about it at the time.

Shadows attacked the party's base of operations once. The party was asleep at the time. The cleric awoke to a shadow's Strength Drain attack. She ended up fighting the entire combat naked. The cleric bought a nightgown at the general store the next day.
