Truly incredible. I still don't understand how #Abbott is getting away with violating the Geneva Conventions at the US-Mexican border. The Geneva Conventions are US law, not simple international agreements, ratified by Congress. It's as if #TX has seceded from the Union and declared its own international border with Mexico that supersedes US control. What next, is he going to start replacing US customs with his own border crossing and sending the Border Patrol packing?

They probably don't care. #TN like so many other Red states will simply ignore anything a federal investigation might uncover. The Red states have effectively seceded from the Union, viz., #AL tells the federal court to stick its gerrymandering ruling up its ass, #TX physically occupies the US border with Mexico while murdering Mexicans in plain sight, #FL abandons the Bill of Rights, etc. Without Blue state financing, their economies go belly up, so they don't dare actually leave.

#KS, #TX, #AL, and #FL no longer recognize US federal law, so this article is almost irrelevant to the circumstances. #KS is a Christo-fascist police state now, as are states of the Bible Belt. Another Red state flouts federal law, in this case HIPAA. #Abbott believes that the state of TX controls the US border with Mexico and can ignore environmental laws controlling barring blocking US waterways and basic human rights violations involving their scattering razor wire on federally controlled land and waterways. #TX has basically seceded from the Union.
