The Feast of Tabernacles

In the Old Testament, there was a festival called the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot. During this feast, God instructed His people to dwell in booths for seven days along with their children. It was a feast that was commanded to be kept forever, and the last of the seven major feasts mentioned in Leviticus 23.

Paul says that we are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in us (ref 1Co 3:16). The Book of Revelation, which is a prophetic book of things to come, also speaks about the tabernacle of God:

Rev 21:3 , “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.”
