@aulia It might help to get used to adding #tags to nouns and proper nouns when talking about them.

#FediTips If you see the lack of search on your instance and go "Hey, I'll just create my own search engine for the fediverse" ... stop typing.

Maybe pay your instance admin and ask if search can be enabled on your instance (which, is a thing, it's just resource expensive and only searches what's already cached at your instance).

Maybe just include #tags on posts and encourage others to do so, since that's opt-in and cheap.

@Sirsquid Search is usually limited to #tags and @people, it's really expensive to search fulltext. That said, large instances are experiencing the hug-of-death at the moment; you can mitigate this by moving to a smaller instance. https://instances.social has a great wizard for finding an instance.

Be kind to your phone and plug it in.
