@marleybits39 I think militarily the town is of limited value. What apparently Zelenskyy and his team believe is that this is where they will make a stand and make Russia's pain grow to the point where recovery is doubtful (and at the very least lengthy). As in 1830's Texas the 'Alamo', in today's war it is "Bakhmut".
