Experiments in lab still ongoing. Now I’m learning how to create bonds not only via Dracut options, but also in YAML for config apply. Fixed DNS issue today, which boosted deploys a lot (it was stupid mistake about short hostnames).

I’ve seen that link today in twitter — there was pretty much people of “why we even need that” kind 🌚

Me, personally, would try that after success with #TalosLinux escapade.

Okay. So Day -1 on my local mbp #TalosLinux was just great — ready to work #k8s cluster of cp3w1 from scratch in 5min with flannel cni (up to 7min with cilium cni). Things are pretty easy on simple configurations 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Today was Day 0 in office lab and it was real pain to figure out what to do with all that bonds and VLANs. Still no success, but got few ideas for tomorrow.

Hmm…I’ve got #Pulumi creating all the infrastructure, modifying the configuration files (the hard way), and standing up the nodes for a #TalosLinux cluster. It appears that etcd is healthy, but can’t get the #Kubernetes API to respond. I must be missing something.

@somegirlprivacy @omenos @e33io The ostree flavors of #Fedora recently got an --apply-live for rpm-ostree update. It's not a desktop distro, but #TalosLinux uses #kexec to boot into a newer kernel and runtime live without reboot.

Time to rebuild this little home cluster. I love using #taloslinux for
running #kubernetes on #raspberrypi. Been wanting to take Cillium for a spin too, and they seem to make it fairly easy to do.

Just got #JupyterHub deployed on prem on baremetal with #Kubernetes using #SideroMetal + #TalosLinux with #MetalLB, #Traefik, and #caddyserver for the networking.

Got a #Kubernetes cluster provisioned on bare metal servers with #SideroLabs #TalosLinux.

Today, I replaced the legacy OS that shipped on this new #Ryzen 7 box with #Fedora #Kinoite #Linux and got #Kubernetes running on it with #TalosLinux.
