I got a for-real #fever last night & another today. That never happens. Sore throat, dizzy, cough, ridiculous body aches. Negative COVID rapid. I think I might legitimately have actual #influenza. What’s the consensus on #tamiflu these days?

@HeatherFeltonMD @tootiatricians I am not a fan and never have been. So many parents call because their child is vomiting so much (even after I warn that this could happen and tell them hydration is more important, so stop the #tamiflu if it causes a lot of GI upset). It really has weak benefits too, so I generally only recommend it for high risk patients with #flu, but will give it if parents really want it because #CDC guidelines say to. If there's a bad outcome and I didn't write it-not good.
