The #TanDun concert was AMAZING. #BuddhaPassion is an #oratorio with a beautiful, sweeping blend of compositional styles, folk motifs, and vocals and instrumentation. If I'd known I was going to like it so much I'd have gotten tickets to both performances. (It also made me want to write music again, something I haven't done in over twenty years. Not even sure I could sketch a V-I cadence right now.)

Best laid plans...I was going to go #tracking this morning but woke up with a nasty headache (not unusual for me). So now I'm working through some more of #HarvardX's #AncientGreek Hero course until it's time to leave for the #SeattleSymphony. #TanDun is conducting his own work and I'm very excited to hear it.
