It should be possible at this point to compare policy responses of similar jurisdictions and see what policies have been effective against #covid19 .

There is an important debate about individual freedom, public safety, etc. (See #TashaKheiriddin in the *National Post* today.) But there is no public safety argument that justifies ineffective policies.

I'm looking at you, Québec #curfew . Show me some proof that you worked last year.

The case against shutting down #Line5 is the importance of the oil it carries to industry, and the importance of industry's products to the public. Is there some new reason to believe it is risky environmentally?

From the #ClimateChange perspective, we need to reduce consumer use; punishing production and transport locally will not work.
