@PGBeattie I don't know how much could be raised, but I totally agree there are many people who can pay more. As a professional in my 50s I'm not on a 6 figure salary but I've been lucky with house prices & mortgage rates. I can easily pay more tax, and it seems a pretty good deal to me. I really believe there are a lot of people in the same position!
