It seems to be this individual who got #TaylorLorenz suspended, having claimed that Lorenz doxed her in an article about her business (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/14/style/influences-tiktok-management-brittany-broski.html).

Neither the individual nor her business came off particularly well in the article, and her lawsuit claiming defamation was thrown out (https://www.mediapost.com/publications/article/377761/judge-dismisses-libel-suit-against-new-york-times.html)—so this looks like a classic anti-reporter vendetta that #ElonMusk has gladly leveraged for his #TwitterPurge.

I don't have the bandwidth right now to check everything about Taylor Lorenz, but people who are interested should definitely look into this.

Journalistic standards still matter, and it's well possible that Musk is in full fascist mode, and is using this case to pretend his fascist rule is just and correct to wash what he did in the last few days, when we know for a fact that it is not.

#ElonMusk says #TaylorLorenz was suspended because she "doxed" someone, which was the excuse he used to suspend other #journalists who linked to #ElonJet. But she doesn't seem to have mentioned ElonJet at all.

However, his far right mates on the site all hate her for "doxing" anti-LGBT hate account LibsOfTikTok. (She didn't; she published public WHOIS details.)

Is that why he's done this?
