This must be the first time in Iran's history that #TeamMelli is in the #worldcup but a large group of people don't give a sh*t. In fact, a lot of us don't even root for them. A few players who had criticised the regime were removed from the team and the current team had a rather friendly meeting with the Iranian president before their departure which people absolutely hated considering his role in recent violent crackdowns. Sad, really
