Heute spielen wir mit #Teariscope einen #Gig in einen Proberaum in #Kubschütz bei #Bautzen #Sachsen. Wer aus der Region ist und uns live erleben möchte, 18 Uhr ist Einlass und 19 Uhr Start im Pappelweg 2. Es treten 4 Bands auf und es wird ein wenig durchmischter von der Musik.

@MiseryPath I use those too. Love them for the shape, makes fast picking pinch harmonics easier. But at #Teariscope I'm playing a hybrid between fast picking and long chord parts, where the small size is pretty exhausting for the latter. It feels like I need a lot of power to hold on to the pick, which I don't have with bigger ones. Therefor this shape is kind of a hybrid between Jazz III and every standard pick size.

Our first gig with #Teariscope after the Lockdown was crazy. Nice crowd, people dancing all along and everyone had lots of fun. Also the opening band #pecus was great!

@thsprsntdrknss Sorry, I can't compare it to ProTools at all. The other band member of #Teariscope, who is into mixing, also uses ProTools. What specifically are you trying to find in #Ardour?

To be able to work together on projects as a band, we decided to switch to #Reaper (as I rejected using something else than Linux). It's not free Software sadly, but it's a professional tool and it is available for Linux.

@Cyia wie hoch sind denn deine Latenzen?
Nach ein wenig tweaken von Jack war es bei mir unter #ubuntustudio kein Problem mehr. Am Ende ist es doch eine physikalische Beschränkung, die bei jeder Distribution etwa gleich sein sollte.

Meine Band heißt #Teariscope (zu finden auf Spotify, Deezer, Napster, etc.). Bin erst seit kurzem dabei. Im nächsten Release kommen auch meine Einflüsse hinzu. Projekte darf ich leider nicht zeigen 😉
