Since Google Search Console ONLY shows Core Web Vitals and Page Experience metrics for "sufficiently popular sites" that have enough CRUX data, I am wondering.

Do you think that small, less than 1K page, mom-and-pop websites should stress out about CWV since Google SAYS they only count CWV if there is CRUX data?

I mean, I know that sites need to be fast, but these smaller owners CANNOT afford developers to maintain CWV.

Optimizing websites for international audiences for different regions is essential if companies want to capture more global traffic and establish successful sales with their new customers around the world.

Failing to implement HREFLang properly poses certain risks, like pages may not appear in the correct regional search results, leading to fewer visitors and less customers.

I use 2-3 crawlers per audit, but I never knew that some do not isolate rendering sessions and not may not provide an accurate representation of what search engines will render. Even still I haven’t seen a big difference between my crawlers. For audits @screamingfrog has always been by favorite, its easier to stay in the tool and dig deeper when I’m trying to understand an anomaly. #seo #TechnicalSEO

@JacquesBouchard Best tip I have is do a post and include the tags you might be interested in: i.e:

Toot that and then go to your toot and click on the tags and follow them - they will appear in your home timeline from the fediverse.

The follow icon is the person with the + you can follow people or tags with that. Confusing but once you know!

What would you do? over the summer, someone accidentally changed the URLs of my clients site by removing a folder (eg /folder/article/ became /article/ in a redirect).

A few days later it was corrected back to /folder/article/ …but when that happened, the URL ( /article/) 404’d. Some of which Google had indexed. So they implemented a 301 from /article/ to /folder/article/.

Unfortunately they haven’t been able to bounce back or recover from the loss. Any ideas?
