Was mich an eine liebevolle Ausstellung im Naturhistorischen (!) Museum Wien erinnerte: "Bärenlese - zum Wesen des Teddys"

Und daran, dass eine Freundin von mir ein #Spielzeugmuseum leitet.

Das hat mit Geschichten + Lebensgeschichten zu tun und einem Horizont, der sich weitet.

Miro è la replica di un orsetto resistente.

Fu prodotto nel 1992 su disegno di un giocattolo di inizio secolo della fabbrica artigiana ceca Hamiro, espropriata dal governo comunista dopo il 1948 e riconvertita alla produzione di giocattoli "educativi"non "decadenti" e ideologicamente approvati dal regime.
Caduto il muro di Berlino e tornata la libertà, l'erede della Hamiro ha voluto ricordare l'impresa dei genitori facendo rinascere Miro (con la tedesca Sigikid) in 2000 esemplari.

Has anyone thought about what makes #teddy a #bear?

Seriously it is just repetition and conditioning that makes us jump to "#teddybear"? Why are there no #teddyCats and #teddyDogs? Can we not have cute lil #TeddyBoars, and #TeddyRoos?

We have never heard anyone name a bear Theodore. Are we being taken for absolute fools here?

Why does the bear have this monopoly'?
