Just paged through the comparison tab on my street’s #telraam, and it’s nice to see it confirm that we’re a (relatively) very pedestrian street, which suggests my dream of making it an explicit #woonerf isn’t completely bonkers.
This is of course at least in part a selection effect (most of the telraams in town are focused on higher-traffic streets) but still interesting to see.
The Bay Area has a lot of #Telraam devices deployed, now. I count about 40. Love to see it. https://telraam.net/#11/37.8247/-122.2723 #RoadSafety #BikeTooter #BayArea #SanFrancisco #Berkeley

Finally ordered a @telraamtelraam #Telraam S2 traffic counter. It allows to count traffic (people walking, biking, driving) on the street in front of your building, and it even does speed measurement. The data are collected and made available through a portal, making this a great #CitizenScience project for traffic safety https://telraam.net/en/S2
The new #Telraam network in South East London is growing.
The Lambeth Community Traffic Monitoring project has already got most of the devices installed and running, ready for counting traffic and street usage from September.
Looking forward to the results, and insights into recent #activetravel investments in the area
Interesting to see how this podcast interview with @carltonreid has generated lots of interest in #Telraam, but also how he has to cope with such vitriol on all transport matters.
Very grateful there are voices out there like Carlton

Proud to see our #Telraam S2 appear in Smart Cities World
Doesn't it look good? :)

@dM3 @standespiegelaere there's also #Telraam but I didn't have the time yet to get anything useful out of their API https://telraam-api.net
Hoping to connect with others interested in monitoring traffic in order to address road safety, air quality, pollution and more.

Interesting Citizen Science initiative, powered by Free Software and producing Open Data. #Telraam allows citizens to count traffic passing by their house with an #IoT device powered by #RaspberryPi and #OpenCV for image analysis: telraam.net/en/what-is-telraam. Data is contributed to a platform where statistics can be consulted as #OpenData and presented on a map powered by #OpenStreetMap. The device can be ordered as a kit to assemble or pre-assembled, or you can do it yourself. #DIY
