A severe fire occurred in a building containing polystyrene foam. The fire area was 9 thousand square meters, the cause of the fire is still unknown.

The winner of the "Eurovision 2023" selection competition (Vidbir) was the group Tvorchi with the song "Heart of Steel"

They will represent Ukraine at the song contest, which will be held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine. Today's Vidbir was held in the Maidan Nezalezhnosti Metro station and the selection was made purely on the public vote.
