I listened to "Interstices" by Terre Thaemlitz recently. I remember giving it a go in 2008, and I remembered it as too weird and too unlistenable. However, years have passed. Despite my hard feelings toward the album, I bought a physical copy of it when I had an occasion and now, when I'm listening to the old CDs, I decided to give it a go too. I was surprised how much it resembles vaporwave. And how approachable it is now. The artist was ahead of the time.

"How to make more liveable, more inventive and self-critical? How to promote emancipation and horizontality in and museums? These are among the practical aims of Ce que Laurence Rassel nous fait faire, a book of conversations with Laurence Rassel, director of the (école de recherche graphique) in Brussels. [...] In 2018, a group of three Brussels and Paris-based visual artists—Agathe Boulanger, Signe Frederiksen and Jules Lagrange—started a year-long conversations with Laurence, exploring her social and educational background, her ways of working, and examining the tools she applies in her daily practice of running institutions: feminism, the open source and free software movements, and the institutional psychotherapy developed by and in the psychiatric field around the mid-20th century.
Defining Laurence Rassel as a curator, an activist or an educator, is over-simplifying. Rather, she is a practitioner who thinks with others, and with what she has learned from , , , , , or , to name only a few."
