First time seeing a Tesla Semi truck in person #TeslaSemi

Новый брендированный Pepsi Tesla Semi был обнаружен на улицах в Калифорнии.

Водитель сказал, что это был его первый день вождения трака и что у него был час тренировок до этого. Ему понравилась плавная поездка, он жаловался только на трудности с использованием приложения.

Про запас хода: на экране написано 374 мили (602 км), и похоже, что это около 80% заряда.

I just did some calculations.

The #HummeEV I've just driven 12 miles to film with... averaged 0.8 miles per kWh.

That was after two miles of trying to break 1.6 miles/kWh.

The #TeslaSemi does the equivalent of 1.7 kWh/mile (or 0.587 miles per kWh)

Just let that sink in.
One can carry 80,000 pounds.
One cannot.

I disagree with #Tesla and #ElonMusk on many things, but if the Semi does what it claims... kudos.

Great video and evaluation of the #TeslaSemi presentation.
It clearly shows again why #Musk is the king of vaporware.

* The #TeslaSemi hauled only around half of a diesel truck and maybe less.
* It has believable real world problems with charging.
* Chassis parts not in alignment.
* Was constantly overtaken by diesel trucks.
* It is a extreme hazard when burning.
* Less features like promised in 2017.

I blocked the #TeslaBot with its #Tesla spamming. Trying to push share prices.

Friendly reminder that objectively, Elon Musk is a serial liar and there is no reason to believe anything from the #TeslaSemi event until real automotive reporters can verify it.

There are many companies you can take at their word. Tesla lost that privilege a long time ago.

I was impressed by the presentation and it’s lack of hyperbole. Maybe this is a new tactic?
