Fibromyalgia, arthritis, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos with chronic pain for the last 24 years and I was just denied Social security disability today.

If I hadn't found a post about MTHFR / l-methylfolate on here last month I'd be far more upset. So far it really seems to help.

Still haven't found a doctor other than the Doc S.S. sent me to that has any real understanding of #hEDS

I just had the most bizarre experience … I asked a potentially dumb Mastadon related question, and a bunch of friendly, patient people came to offer help! Wtf?! In ‘the other place’ I’d have been called a dumb bitch! I think I love it here, and even if ‘the other place’ doesn’t crash and burn, I might just stay!!! #ThankyouMastodon

Shall I tell you what I’m liking most here so far (apart from the whole vibe), is that I don’t find spam DMs every time I come on here. Sick & tired of them on Twitter & Insta. Post a pic of a dog on Insta and immediately get spammed by bots asking you to post to their feed (or something, I dunno, I block them). It’s just so refreshing not to be controlled by algorithms & bots. I’m staying 🥰 #Twexiter #Mastovibe #ThankYouMastodon
