2 tasks performed, today:

- Installed 3 foot USB 2 extensions onto Solaria and Odin's KVM cords so they can be plugged into a front USB port. The top external PC fans' cords were moved to the rear of the PCs.

- Successfully set up the desktop of the XFCE build onto my LMDE build to give as close of a #LinuxMint desktop if there was an XFCE version. I did this on my 32-bit testing Lenovo #Ideapad running LMDE4.

I'm awesome...

I did some thinking about the #Pleroma instance being tested for @disroot . I very much want to be using it and having a presence for not only myself but also for #TheAnKorage . I came up with a solution.

I had decided to keep infrastructure to my home and fun based out of separate services. Disroot is having an issue with Pleroma account naming conventions (periods in user names) that Pleroma isn't coded for.

And then it hit me; why not, just have different accounts on the same service? Duh! So, I did a sign-up for #TheAnKorage . That will solve a lot of issues.

I was successful installing the XFCE desktop onto my 32-Bit Ideapad testing unit for #LinuxMint .

I'll work on the theming, tomorrow, to make it Mintesque.

This is too funny.

The #Mintbook is a repurposed/rebuilt former Chromebook and, currently has #LinuxMint 64 bit Cinnamon with the Ubuntu package base on it.

I checked to see if I could install LMDE on it and discovered I couldn't.

Giving serious consideration that when #linuxmint Debian Edition (LMDE) 5 is released to, more or less, upgrade my daily driver machine and my #Mintbook I use as a webcam viewer (I like the one in North Conway).

I'll be putting LMDE 4 onto the Minebook so I can see if an easy upgrade selection appears in the Linux Mint update manager.
