Turned my ultrawide monitor to be vertical so I can take some screenshots. When I went into MacOS Settings to rotate it 90 degrees, it rotated the wrong way and everything was upside-down. All I could think of was #Yzma from #TheEmperorsNewGroove bellowing, “WRONG LEVER!” 😂

@ReverseModule Love this song. Such a shame it was cut from the film when they totally reframed the whole narrative and decided to just leave in that odd Tom Jones bit. Much prefer the Eartha Kitt original though.

But #LiloAndStitch was SUCH a departure, such a risk. Yet just as talented, just as deep and touching a story. But it also was something that was targeted at weird kids/people. And thank goodness for it. I had never felt so heard by #Disney. The #Aladdin and #BeautyAndTheBeast, those could be understood by a normal #CisWhiteHet society.

But L&S, #TheEmperorsNewGroove, Those were for us odd balls. And looking at Disney writ large, I would have never guessed those would be made by that studio.

The Sweatbox Documentary

This has been on my must-watch list for a looooong time. It's a documentary that just so happens to capture the implosion of a Disney film at the tail end of the Renaissance period of the studio.
