I have two copies of this - this is the deluxe version with their live NPR desk concert added.
As I mentioned before - these guys are a little Gang of Four (with less singing - figure Anthrax without the chorus), a little Ian Dury, a little Fall, and a little like their contemporaries Dry Cleaning: savagely biting lyrics set to grooves.

All-female #postpunkband uit Londen, opgericht in 2007 door Rivka Gillieron, Sarah Datbylgu en Billy Easter.
De band word dikwijls vergeleken met #TheFall.
In 2008 brengen ze hun debuut Enterprise Reversal uit en trekken op tournee met oa #AriUp, #TheGossip en #EltonJohn.
En in 2012 trekken ze ook op tournee met hun grote voorbeeld The Fall.
Als Rivka zwanger is zet de band even alles stil, om dan sinds 2015 uit te pakken met hun derde album Divine Times.

Juste avant, j'ai dépilé la série #TheFall sur #Netflix, toujours ; vraiment très bonne niveau thriller psychologique. Les acteurs, notamment #GillianAnderson qui entamait sa seconde carrière (clairement ce rôle l'a relancée, à raison), sont vraiment excellents.
C'est dingue que cette série ait débuté 4 ans avant le mouvement #MeToo, tant elle aborde de questions posées par ce dernier. #recommandation

The Fall didn't really get much mainstream success but they were very influential on many of the bands who followed them. They released 31 studio albums between 1979 and 2017. Not all of them were great. I tend to prefer the earlier albums with 1982's Hex Enduction Hour being my current favourite.
Fun fact: Hip Priest was featured on the Silence of the Lambs soundtrack.
