127 followers · 1199 posts · Server mastodon.greenOnly one small criticism of the film which was the ‘Uncanny Valley’ weirdness effect of certain CGI bits - the babies’ faces, a couple of Zod mask bits, and some of the ‘retro’ characters towards the end. Seems odd for something with such a huge budget these days, but human faces/eyes are hard!

Some fun flashback/Easter eggs like early Back to the Future nods work well, and classic superhero stuff (no spoilers!) really took me back. Time travel stuff is explained and wrapped up in a way that makes sense.
And it’s great to see a woman’s character allowed real rage and fury! ❤️
Also they did a Marvel with the end credits scene. It was fun.
