"Wha-- what…?" I reached out and palmed the lightswitch, sat up groggily.
Sara. She had a small box in her hands. She looked worried. And … Sara had uncanny nack for knowing when a new shipment would arrive.
"Boss…?"
I shook my head to clear it and reached out for the box. She popped the lid, tilted me to show the contents.
"Oh fuck. Wake everyone! Team meeting in five minutes!" Masks. Marked for staff use. The shop was going to end up somewhere that had a plague.

"Right. Sara, Sven: are you game for a grocery run?" I popped the till to find small golden hexagons in the various drawers. Sara watched me as I decanted some into her hands so she knew the denominations.
Sven stepped outside, and a shiver went through him. Back inside, he looked at me, shrugged apologetically. Just Sara then. In some places, outside the Shop, Sven had a ... problem.
"You back in half hour!" he told Sara. "Or I come at a run!"

Woke to find the shop had moved again. The sky is purple. The Book says hide all category K items; we scuttle around checking the backs of tickets. The Headache Thing, whose ticket is the size of a postcard the back of which seems to contain several alphabets, is okay to sell. We check it twice. I tell Sara to put it in the window; perhaps we can finally be rid of it. It looks like a five-sided platonic solid. The front of the ticket is unreadable; never a good sign.
