More thoughts: Eleanor’s car “stealing” drive combined with her voice over narration really make me think of those two similar, but separate, elements of Psycho which came out 3 years earlier and I can’t help but wonder if they were supposed to invoke it deliberately. Make people wonder: would Eleanor be a victim, like Marion Crane, or an “unstable danger” like Norman Bate’s “Mom”. #Movies #TheHaunting

Now though it’s time to relax with a movie and I’m going with The Haunting (1963) and I’ve already got two thoughts. 1) niche, but, I can’t help but wonder if it’s opening line about whatever walks in Hill House walking alone inspired J. Michael Straczynski's similar line in Babylon 5 and 2) does director Robert Wise possibly have one of the most interesting and varied slates of movies to his name of any director ever? He must be in contention. #TheHaunting #Movies
