THE L WORD: "Last Word" - 3/8/2009, Showtime

THE L WORD ended its original five-year run on today's date in 2009. Ilene Chaiken had first pitched her idea for a lesbian-centric drama series to Showtime executives in 2000, but it wasn't greenlit until a few years into the success of that same channel's QUEER AS FOLK.

A sequel series, THE L WORD: GENERATION Q, debuted more than a decade later, in late 2019, combining many of the original show's characters with new characters. The revival, which improves on the original's handling of diversity (including the way it portrays trans characters) recently concluded its third season.

目前看过了GQ三季加上OG前两季。除了GQ101-104/5之外基本上只看了Shane的片段，因为演员实在是太有魅力，中途还切出去好几轮看真人采访。
翻Kat的ig发现代表作不多戏路也很窄，的确她个人风格太强烈其实不适合演戏，好在遇见契合的角色，靠转director或是卖merch吃一辈子也不错，没必要强求。只希望她能每年出来露个面拍点GQS3里捶墙或是床戏画面，满足一下我等垂涎她的阴湿观众。
虽然感觉到了GQ拍得不如OG，还是希望S4能续订上，即使是作为赏颜物料也不错哇。
