#TheMidnight album "Kids" is working class poetry propaganda. You can't change my mind.

Tyler, the lead singer, himself at concert in Milwaukee said that he wrote America 2 for the working class folks.

Lyrics from kids both reprisal and prelude:

#synthwave is about the plight of the workers through nostalgia. Where things sound familiar because they are to remind ourselves of the past of what we had and what capitalism has taken from us. A new sound but it is familiar because we recognize our past. We can look at the past and remind ourselves of what we had but we should also look to the future to improve the present.

Also "kids" is not the only class conscious work that The Midnight has put out.

Brooklyn is about how being poor is expensive.

Heros is about how we are easily satisfied with shitty situations and how the only heros in this world is us.
